Hi – I’m wondering if your membership might be interested in attending these writing retreats? Gerard is a Canadian author (originally from Newfoundland, now based in New Brunswick) and is offering retreats in Salem MA in November and Ireland in spring 2017.

Please share in whatever way you see fit. Thanks so much!

Award-winning fiction author, Dr. Gerard Collins (PhD, MA, BA, BEd), is hosting two unique Go and Write retreats over the coming year: in Salem, MA, November 6-11, 2016 and in Ireland, UK, April 20-May 1, 2017. Gerard offers group workshops, customized written feedback and one-on-one meetings with each participant, and these particular Go and Write retreats combine inspiring travel with dedicated writing time.

The Salem retreat will feature five nights at the luxurious Salem Waterfront Hotel, workshops and individual consultation, and a day-trip to Henry David Thoreau’s Walden Pond and Louisa May Alcott’s home in Concord.
Ireland in 2017 offers workshops and individual sessions, five nights in a castle in Dublin, two nights in Ennis, a trip to Sligo and Yeats’ stomping grounds, and ends with a two-night stay in London.
Gerard has teamed up with Freedom Tours and Travel to offer these incredible creative writing retreats. Participants can register through the travel company directly by visiting www.freedomtours.com or calling (506) 632-1012 or (800) 561-2324 toll free.
