Peace River Center for Writers

To my fellow writers.

Many of you have entered into the idea of writers, writing poems about pictures that local artists have painted.
Now I have an idea, why not reverse the process and let artists paint pictures about our poems?
I am in the process of making this suggestion to some of the local art galleries and libraries. I have taken the first step and would like to be sure that there are enough local poets who are willing to take part in such an endeavor.
If you have a poem that you think would inspire an artist to paint a really dramatic and beautiful picture and would like to be part of this first ever experiment then please reply to me at pgholmes@comcast.net  so I have the confidence to proceed with this new idea.

Lets make art history together.
