Sara Crummett Carillo
I'm Sara Carillo, author of fiction, romance and suspense novels. Bella Books, seven titles, Sara Marx Sunstar Books, one title, Sara M Marx Indie Pub, one title, Sara Crummett I have also served as ghost writer for romance novelists who are now actually dead. Over the years I have subsidized my writing career with radio and television voiceover and announcing, including guest hosting on the Home Shopping Network and playing dead people in true crime reenactments because I can really make it look like I'm not breathing. When I'm not writing for dead people or playing one on TV, I am the proud parent to two adult children who are successful healthcare workers because my creative patchwork career scared the hell out of them. I'm going to take that as a win. My wife is a television sportscaster and has enjoyed enough success to never have had to play dead. We have three dogs, mostly doodles, mostly insane. We live near the beach in Naples.

Brian Devitt -3 posts
My Name is Brian Devitt. I have been a ‘tech guy’ for as long as I can remember. It could be the first transistor radio my father brought home or messing around with resistors, capacitors, and power supplies in my childhood friend’s basement. I was always fascinated by things that seemed to work as if by magic. Of course, as I grew older, I became more interested in how the magic works. I entered college in 1973 with aspirations of becoming a medical doctor, so I pursued a degree in Biology as a pre-med curriculum. Along the way, I accepted an NROTC (Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps) scholarship. When I graduated in 1977, I had a degree in Biology and a job in the U.S. Navy as a newly commissioned junior officer. After serving at sea on the USS Biddle (CG-34), I accepted a shore duty assignment as an NROTC instructor at Villanova University. (What comes around goes around.) While there, I decided not to pursue medicine anymore but instead catch the technological wave of computing; I went for a Master’s in Computer Science. When my NROTC instructor assignment ended, I resigned from active duty and pursued a civilian career in Information Technology, and I never looked back. Throughout it all, I wrote some short stories and some novels. You can learn more about me by checking out my website @briandevitt.net

Ed Donlin
Edward F. Donlin, born 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio graduated Ursuline High School class of 1964, hired onto Erie Railroad, and attended Youngstown University while unsuccessfully trying to avoid the draft. My Uncle Sam wrote me a letter and off I went. After a mostly unremarkable 23 month, mostly in Germany, I resumed my career on the railroad while tending bar, managing said bar& kitchen and assisting in the management plus being the door man that some assumed was also the bouncer for 8 years. Conrail ruined my railroad, and I tired of the bar, so I was forced to take a severance which I invested in a boat dealership (sailboats). Five years later the family, wife Marion, son Christopher and I moved to Florida where I worked in various aspects of the marine industry. To promote those endeavors, I began writing, producing and hosting a reality television show which nearly went national. After recovering from a near death experience, I and included my son as host of a series of reality restaurant and water-oriented television shows. I have been writing, for many years and have the rejection letters to prove it. My bottom drawer of my desk is full of work that I am now self-publishing on Amazon. I have been a dues paying member of the Gulf Coast Writers Association on and off since the late 1990a & and I am happy to assume the role of web manager this (2024) year. Recently. I have been sidelined by additional health problems and surgeries that I fully expect to recover from, but after 78 years I know there is no certainty in this life. I just keep trying to empty my head of all the stories while leaning forward.
