2024 Writing Contest Awards Ceremony

All but one 2024 contest winner was available to read their prized stories on Saturday, September 21st (excluding Linda Saether, read by Mary Charles) to a full room at Lakes Regional Library. Hearing these stories, in the author’s voice, brought each word even more to life for the audience. Thank you to everyone for sharing your work with us.
Claudia G. handed out award certificates and prizes while the three lead judges (Patti Walsh–Poetry; Claudia Volkman–Nonfiction; and Ginger Wakem–Fiction) announced the winners, highlighting the special qualities of each that placed writers in 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place across the genres. PM at Masonic Hall/Peace Community Church, where eight storytellers reveal personal stories and fractured tales. Admission is free.
